It is what it is. The Virtual Villagers series has always been one my favorites since I was a kid. If you want a casual\/simulation game that requires some puzzle-solving and villager care, this game is it. However, this game is not for everyone.Pros+Four music tracks+Game progresses at selected rates even when the game is not running: paused, slow, normal and fast.+Customize villager outfits (after building the required shack).+16 unique puzzles to solve.+Endless replayability (game will never end unless you start over or every villager dies).+Multiple save files (tribes).Cons-Beginning of the game is very tough, villagers are inexperienced, there is a lack of food resources, and only a few villagers are able to work.-Villagers can\/will die even if the game is left off for so long.-Villagers need to be manually taught how to do things, like building and farming.-A villager must be 14 years old before they're able to do a lot of things.-Game can be extremely boring once everything is completed: puzzles, steady food supply, all tech upgrades, etc.. Yes, they made a game with Penny Arcade characters. Plays like Mario RPG.. This is a great platformer/puzzle game and really enjoyed my time with it. It is a little bit reminescent of a great N64 game, the way it plays. I would not recommend the Speeder Lane DLC, but the other two were great.. This is an excellent approximation of what it would be like to play poker against a series of children with ADD and only a basic grasp of the rules. All-ins pre-flop are routinely called by the computer player holding 4-6 off. 2-7 off is a must raise hand. It's impossible to put your opponents on anything as they basically play mostly randomly. Don't buy this game if you like poker.. ing love this game! Great soundtrack!. This game is sort of interesting, but...If you are a heavy puzzle fan who must play everything, go for it, but, I warn you, you've probably seen this before. If you aren't...find a better version. This is a 3d puzzle in which colored pieces drop onto the field while you spin the field so the pieces land on a group of like colored spheres, which will then explode. Detonate a group surrounding another colored piece, and that piece will explode upward and then drop, burning away like colored spheres, and possibly causing more explosions. Quantz's one unique feature is that your pieces are mostly free moving. Shake the field and the pieces move. Shake hard, and everything goes flying, before resettling into a (hopefully) better position. For a puzzle game, Quantz is pretty easy. The only time I've ever failed a stage was I tried to do something fancy, and ignored my timer.. It's a nice game and has some interesting ideas like the very complex and badly explained shooting mechanics which allow for about 5 different kinds of bullets. The enemies are very overwhelming and hard to kill which is only more frustrating when you have to worry about dificult platforming. The level sometimes glitches out and doesn't end so you are stuck there until you lose all your lives.I would have liked more context. Every level seems to be be "collect 2 gems" having no idea why collecting a gem is worth risking your life against a hundred enemies. It's a very pretty world made with a lot of care but I would apreciate it more if I felt I was doing something there. It's also impossible to tell if you are damaging an enemy or they are immortal. Some enemies will follow you forever and take about 30 seconds to kill so you are forced to shoot anything you encounter for at least 30 seconds to find out if they can be killed. It is also very unfair since enemies will pop out of the ground beneath you making their attacks undodgeable and the platforming often has very little logic to it meaning a lot of trial and error and cheap deaths. It's not unplayable but there are too many issues for me to recommend it.. Decent game
